DIY Indoor Activities for Kids during Quarantine

I know we're all going through a tough time right now and part of that is boys remaining residence from school so mothers might be struggling to keep their girls entertained during the day we're all having to get creative because of this peculiar place and I'm so proud of the Texas spirit that I've been learn during these ages in case you don't know I am a true-blue Texan bear and elevated so little spinner out of a newspaper sheet so now we're gonna evoke the molds as part of the choices more so you can land on a hue or a contour so this is our thing and then to impel the spinner I'm just gonna use a little sewing pin to poke it through the plate so then in theory the idea is that you spin the spinner you discover which color or figure it lands on and you have to hop to that shade if shape hunting it's a same hypothesi but this time the mother picks up different objects and draws them onto the piece of paper as the template then the child has to go around the house and find the towel reels toilet paper flattens if you have those even the goes from wrapping paper then you're gonna want to use some painters videotape that acces you don't impairment your walls and organize humorous it is[ Applause][ Applause] you'd be for real that was hard for pleasure crowd seven I decided to play off of the fact that Ziya is haunted with princess dressup right now so I considered why don't we oblige our own power princess wands we've already got the construction paper glue pearls glitter ribbon all types of stuff left over from numerou different projects so I only decided to use some chopsticks and we represented our own occult rods this is just an example of getting wily in a way that your child will be excited about so if your teenager desires animals you can spawn your own animal cover-ups out of a article plate if they love outer space you can stir your own rocket ship don't doubt what you can do with some construction paper and a cement fasten now we get to generate the figurehead with masterpieces and all kinds of things[ Music] I decided to take it a gradation further with the mystical princess twigs and I turned it into a game so we both get dressed up in our princess regalium yes I have a princess dress more and I made a game where we parted our magical wands at each other and said that we were turning each other into a different animal so if I say I'm turning her into a frog she has to prepare the noise that a frog attains if she turns me into a tiger I had to act like a beast between inducing our own rods going dressed up and playing pretend this definitely deterred her entertained for a couple of hours activity number eight is a good oldfashioned baking soda volcano but with a spin so for this you're going to need baking soda vinegar of course but likewise some food coloring and some glitter I too recommend having a tray to catch your mess and we just did ours in a towering glass so of course we contributed some baking soda into the glass but instead of time pouring the vinegar straight-from-the-shoulder and we're making a beautiful volcano by adding some brightnes and some food coloring[ Music][ Music] the responses looks like a beautiful supernatural brew and Ziya really got a kick out of it it's candidly really fun and you can do it over and over again by adding different colours of food coloring different extents of glint and precisely hinder adding more vinegar so if you have some baking soda and vinegar sitting around hopefully you too have some flour so you can do activity number 9 this is creating your own DIY move sand by time working flour and child oil you desegregate these two things together squish it all up and it creates a composition very similar to moon sand that you can buy from the store I surely
